    Domain Explained-----Effects on individual-----Effects on businesses-------Conclusions

Domain: the impact on reachability.

Domain, if mathematically defined is the value of input which we can supply to a function such that defined output could be obtained. When we talk about domain in general, it implies to the number of opportunities you can gather in order to hope for a meaningful return.

At personal scale. If we think about it. This means, how many people I can hope to connect meaningfully.

At a business scale: it defines the number of potential clients a company can have; the number of domain points point from where a revenue can be generated.

As we are now connected to one another without any barrier on the distance. If you can make a friend in Seoul, South Korea, then definitely a business can also sell to a person in South Korea as well. The probable places where you can show up your business has risen exponentially,

One could think of it as a process for levelling up the global inequality.

The train of thought goes like this, if one can get revenue from all around the world, flow of money is not restricted just to same countries, it could flow from a rich to poor as well.

Example: A game developer in Kanpur Uttar Pradesh can make a game and sell it to a boy in Seattle, Washington for 10 USD. Currency just got a new path to flow from Seattle to Kanpur, a new path is created. Developer got 800 Rupees, which is a very decent amount for a game here in India, Boy in Seattle got a new game for 10 Dollar which is a very small fee for a game in his own society. It’s a win win for both parties.

Lets take another example: there is a two person company who makes excellent indigenous quality carpet in Udaipur, Rajasthan. If the world is connected, it will be able to reach a way better customer base around the country, even around the world, than round his local community.

This could be called as the initialization of difference levelling process.

A well-known example of this, could be Case of Bhuvan Bam of BB ki Vines. He had just started uploading videos to YouTube. It was first, that he became viral in Pakistan than, his popularity reached in New Delhi. If there was not a connected around the world. Then we may not had got the legends of Angry Master Ji, or mangloo detective ka to kaam hi band ho jaata.

As with every coin, there are two sides of the process, but money can flow out as well. As much are their chances of a developer to sell his/her game to a customer in Seattle. This will also lead to Amazon being able to replace his local shop, where he buys ration to be replaced by a website which migrates revenue back to Seattle as well. Or advertisement’s revenue, you did for your carpet to mountain view. Ouch, it hurt??

Summing up argument: As far as economics goes it will make more sense to the rich countries, because businesses are the ones, who bring money. But as far as individual is concerned, it will be beneficial. Because in a connected world, your work will reach better a far better audience, if there is need for it.

which would you prefer? - hardly 10-20 second. It will take.
